Have you noticed the good stuff in the news lately? There is certainly plenty of NOT good news. But for those of us who are tuned in, there is something special happening. Have you felt it? There’s a massive shift of consciousness happening right now. Every day more and more people are tuning into their own thoughts and feelings.
Are you tuned in?
A few years ago, I hired a coach to help me learn to meditate, or so I thought. I read a few books and decided that all the most successful people in the world meditate. I thought in order to be successful, I too must meditate. So, I did what any red-blooded American does and sought out help on Facebook.
Luckily, a friend of mine, who later became my coach, had posted something about meditation. I reached out and so began an 18-month journey into my mind. What I didn’t know at the time was that I needed to learn to listen to, and understand, my own mindset. Meditation was just one tool used to do that. I quickly began to understand that our brains are not only powerful, they are malleable and can be used to help us create limitless success.
If you had asked me to rate myself on my self-awareness back then, I would have probably rated myself highly. Looking back, I realize I had no clue what was happening between my ears. How in tune to your own thoughts and self-talk are you? How well do you believe that you can you control your mindset?
The importance of mindset is not exactly a secret. Gurus and leaders in the field have been telling us for years about the power of the subconscious. They’ve been telling us that we are walking around this world in a daze, unaware of the thoughts in our heads. They’ve warned that living unconsciously prevents us from achieving our goals.
Remember that shift I mentioned? The good news? The shift, that is happening, is that the entire world now can wake up out of that daze! By eliminating busy daily schedules, being forced to stay home and be still, many people have started to tune into their own minds and thoughts much more closely. People are noticing and appreciating the quiet and the down time. Many are saying that they are enjoying it so much, that they want to find a way to incorporate it in their lives as things begin to return to normal speed.

Here are a few ways to check your current level of mindfulness:
1. Are you aware of the way that the energy of others affects you?
2. Are you able to recognize when your mindset has shifted into a negative frequency?
3. Do you have tools and strategies that you can easily employ to shift your mind into a higher frequency vibration, a more positive place?
If you answered Yes to one of those questions, you’re beginning the amazing journey
of tuning into your thoughts.
If you can say Yes to two, you are doing well at learning the power of your mind
and have started the journey.
If you can answer Yes to all three, congratulations on understanding the power of your mind. Now is time to master it!
