This blog is often used to tell you about how my program will fit into your life and why you as a female leader need to be prioritizing your health and fitness. Today I’m sharing a client success story, and how the steps she has taken in one area of her life have created a ripple effect in all areas of her life


One Step Creates a Ripple Effect


I work with female leaders. These women are achievers. So they don’t often have the words, “I’m done” or “I’m over it” in their vocabulary.  But when they do, it’s music to my ears! Why? Because when they are referring to how they feel, it means
they are fed up with not having energy, with not putting themselves first, and with not feeling their best. I know they are serious about finally putting in the work to put self care at the top of their list. Nothing brings me more joy! 


This past week was full of so many breakthrough moments for my clients. I had multiple client calls, and they shared success after success. I was so excited for them! 


One client came to me not too long ago in what she described as the worst shape of her life. She described how frustrated she was, told me how her anxiety was through the roof, and detailed her insane schedule that was drowning her. All of these things were having a negative effect on her business. She’s been working really hard over the years to grow as an entrepreneur, but not seeing any level of success she wanted. We’ve all been there when we're at our lowest point, right? And this was her low. She finally reached the point where she had said, “I'm done. I'm over this. I'm doing something about this, and I'm doing it right now.” 


Mindset Affects Everything


We’ve spent the last two months working on helping her to feel better. She lost some weight, she lost a ton of inches. But that isn't even a good part. After working on her mindset, she was able to shift from someone who was bottling up emotions and beating herself up to someone who is loving herself and feeling confident and owning her feelings. 


Okay, I feel the eye rolls and you thinking, that sounds fabulous, blah, blah, blah, why do I care? I’ll tell you: Self-love and confidence are leading to money in her pocket and growth in her business. That's why it matters. 


I want you to understand, self-care and prioritizing fitness isn’t all about how you look. It's not about what size shorts you wear, or your body fat percentage, or even how you feel in a swimsuit. This is about the effect that the way you feel and the way you look. And what's happening between your ears trickles out to the rest of your world, the rest of your life, it’s a massive ripple effect. And if you're not good in this place, I promise you, you're not good in a lot of other places. 


Everything creates a ripple effect: prioritizing yourself, feeling better, looking better, making more money at work, having better relationships with your family and your partners, being a better parent.


Three Steps To Success

  1. Streamline Your Schedule - your schedule is probably way too crazy. I know you feel like you have to do everything and there is nothing you can cross off the list. But I promise you, my friend, you are in charge. You get to decide every single day what's on that schedule. So you've got to trim it down. You've got to streamline it and you've got to make time for you. 
  2. Get Clear on Your Goals and Priorities -  I’m not talking about your daily to-do list. I mean you need to get crystal clear on what it is you want. Going back to my client I spoke about earlier, she wanted to grow your business. Maybe your goal is to make more money or sell more products or coaching sessions. Whatever is important to you has to start with inside of you. You have to know exactly what needs to be done in order to get to that goal. What are the priorities? What are the stepping stones? there are a gazillion books out there. But that's also a huge part of this program that I do. 
  3. Learn to Fuel and Move your Body for the Lifestyle You Want to Live - it's not about following the latest trend. It’s not about low-fat, low-carb, vegan, whatever. It’s about understanding your body, and how you want to live. If you hate cooking, stop trying to cook. You'll never be successful in meal prepping, if you aren't cooking, so just stop trying to figure something else out. 



Figure out your lifestyle, figure out what works for you that is critical to success. You cannot follow someone else's plan and have the same success they had, just because it worked for them.
Sustainable self-care is something that you follow and do because it works for you.
