The other day, after one of my spin classes, I was talking to someone about intermittent fasting and whether or not it was effective with my interval-based classes. Like most people, her knowledge of intermittent fasting was based on headlines she’d seen, not the science behind it.


How often have you started a diet plan based on a headline, or meme, or on something a friend told you? Was it successful? When you make health choices that way, it can lead to disaster! Either you fail entirely, or you lose weight only to rebound. Why? Because so many diets work, but not in the long term. And you deserve results that will lead to a lifetime of health and fitness. You need a lifestyle change.



The missing elements of most fitness programs


I’m a personal trainer and nutrition & lifestyle coach, and I’ve spent the last five years researching the science behind all of these headline diets. The mediterranean diet, keto, intermittent fasting, paleo, and every other headline diet out there have all worked for some people. But they also fail. And they fail because they’re missing three things:

Customization

Your body is unique. Your lifestyles, hormonal makeup, medical history, and metabolism is unique. What works for my body might not work for yours. And you deserve a program that takes that into consideration.

Implementation

Most programs don’t come with a coach. Especially not a dedicated, available 24/7 coach. So how do you keep your new program going when life happens?
